Wonder project
On Thursday The whole of Te Waka Ako was included in this project that everyone was going to make. Also we had an expert and her name is Melissa and she is a Biology scientist. Biology is studying about living things on Earth not only earth other places as well. First off she introduced herself to us and told us what she works for and also I was very surprised because her son Stellan comes to Waikowhai. After that we opened this rocket cardboard then there was everything that we needed to make the rocket and also you needed three people to launch it up in the air. Also the people that will be picked to launch the rocket have to wear light vests and goggles to be protected. And also we had to watch some videos about what we were going to be doing. After we watched the video we got into groups then we were given papers for our group name and I was with Dev, Amara, Ayana, then there was me. We came up with the name D.A.J.A and that stands for our first letter on our names. We also filled out what school we went to but that was easy. After all of that we got back into our groups and we had to pick a paper out of the little box and we had to search up what it meant and I got health and safety. I really enjoy the Wonder project I'm looking forward to next week's session. We are launching a prototype rocket. Blog you later!!!.
Kia ora Jacob. I love the detail you included in your blog post. Maybe you could make the important words stand out by making them bold or larger e.g. biology. I can't wait to see your rocket. Do you think you'd like to be a scientist? I studied Zoology at university which is the Biology of animals (not plants).
