big foot biking

Big foot biking
Welcome back bloggers. Yesterday the whole of Te Waka Ako was learning how to ride a bike. And we were also learning how to be safe on bikes. We had some trainers and their names were Henry and Caroline they were teaching us some facts about bikes. I was really surprised about the facts that they told us because some of the students did not know that its against the Law if you are not wearing a helmet when your riding a scooter or a bike. We also learnt that you had to put your fingers around the brakes. The first lesson was to ride around the courts outside of Te Waka Ako. It was really fun because you got to go all around the courts and it was really nice because when you speed no the bike the wind goes in you face and it was nice because it was really hot. Our second lesson was to signal when you are crossing the road or when you are going left or if you are go right. And we also learnt that you always have to match your seat height near you waist. And we also had to learnt to never use the quick remover because when you use it your wheel will come off when you are riding down a hill. After we did all of our lessons we played some games. The games were to be the last one to to put your feet down, we only played two times because it was almost home time. After we had to put our bikes back and we got a pencil and a bag. The whole of Te Waka Ako had fun. Blog you later!!!!!.

  1. Hi Jacob, I can see that you have good blogging skills. Maybe while we are experiencing the lock down in NZ, you could continue to blog about your learning. I shall look forward to reading your future posts.
